Happy New Year

Huntsville Museum Auction Gala
Huntsville Museum Auction Gala

As 2018 closes, I want to thank-you for your friendship and support. Whether it's reading my newsletter, following me on Instagram or FB, giving my paintings a home, telling your friends about my art, or joining me for workshop or scheduled demos, it's all sincerely appreciated. I am grateful for you, for the good fellowship each year so I can continue to be inspired by you to teach, paint and learn. Like most artists, I continue to experiment to keep on the journey of learning.

Upcoming, I am honored to be the feature artist this year at the Huntsville Museum Annual Art Auction. This is the museum's 28th year to celebrate with an art auction fundraiser gala. Painting is not only my passion, but giving back is a big part of my career. Chris and I are so excited to be there as a part of their celebration events, March 1-2. The auction begins with the opening of the exhibit of my 26 paintings on February 2, with many other invited artists and craftsmen. Bids on all their fine art and crafts will be able to be viewed and taken on their website which will go live in February: hvsmuseum.org.

Art transforms and enhances lives. Huntsville Museum has new work inspired by my interest in abstracting shape and color with what I have learned about making art. The unknown path toward the end result of a painting is always thrilling. Check my limited group workshop dates below. Have a creative and courageous 2019!
